Happy Pink to much to do Saturday

We love the holidays so much, I think we should make it longer.  I mean why try to squeeze all of your parties, shopping and decorating into one short month?  I'm sure we would all find ways to fill up whatever amount of extra time we were given.  But of course there in lies the self made dilemma.

The purpose of the holidays is not to see how crazy we can make ourselves.  I've decided I am going to do less stressing and more enjoying!  To that point I am going to take the time to browse Miss Beverly's Pink Saturday Link.  I am amazed at all of the creativity.  It certainly has inspired me to try different vignettes.  You will be inspired as well.  Your link is:

I'm dreaming of a pink Christmas

Happy decorating time.  I so enjoy this time of year.  I think it is one of the times you can go as far over the top as you care to.  Of course anything from the smallest angel to the largest tree is beautiful.  It does help if you are a person who looks through rose colored glasses!

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Thanksgiving

I'm lucky to say my husband and I have been invited for Thanksgiving dinner this year.  That gives me the ability to start decorating for Christmas.  I have the tendency to over do, but I love it so much, I just can't help myself.  I know many of you feel the same way.  There is no other time of year that brings so many of us pure joy. 

I was unable to do as much as I like the last several years because of my back.  I pared back out of necessity, but found I actually liked it.  I have been going through my stuff to decide what I wanted to do with it.  A daunting task, but very satisfying.  I use to take every thing non Christmas down, to make way for holiday decorations.  Now I'm not doing much of traditional Christmas colors.  This leaves me plenty of space for my PINK.  Oh, I also happen to love white and pastels!  There will be plenty of soft romantic eye candy.

I did take the time to list a few of my glitter houses and decorated trees on Ebay.  I also pulled my holiday decorations and started  decorating.  I 'm happy to be on my way.

I'm so happy to be back.

Hi to all and Happy Pink Saturday.

I have had a very busy fall.  In the month of September, we were gone 3/4's of the month.  Needless to say our yard work and house work continued on with what seemed like great vigor.  I did have a little time to create some putzes.  I found some little ceramic house that I painted in the putz style.  I love the vintage pieces with their haphazard appearance.  I tried to make the ceramic pieces similar so I could use them with my vintage pieces.  I also hand dyed and decorated little trees to go with them.  I like them so much I decided to do a few and place them on eBay.  I hope to get them out there this weekend.

Finally it is a little cooler.  I believe the swelling of my brain is actually getting better.  If you have ever had that awful feeling, you know how miserable it is!  I may actually be able to get somethings done.

A special Pink Saturday for a special boy named Charlie

I find it so interesting that often times the most fragile of life, is the strongest and most special.

We don't always know why things happen the way they do.  But in it all we know we are not alone.
For hope rises within, when the Angel Kisses fall gently from the sky,  resting in the sweet soft petals of a flower, or on the wings of  a butterfly's maiden voyage.

Of course only special children like Charlie can see these kisses.  But these sweet children are always ready to share them

Happy Pink Cooler Saturday

Whew,  We finally have a little relief from this dreadful heat.  I'm one of those that doesn't function well when I'm hot.  I do have a little energy, so I dug out some treasures I picked up here & there.  To my surprise they were all pink and blue.  I ran around the house pulling some more pink and blue items to make a little vignette.  I had a good time.

Happy Hot Pink Saturday

Will someone please explain why I continue to garden, only to watch everything droop or get eaten.  I love the green movement and try at best to respect Mother Nature.  But I have to say these creepy ravenous earwigs are about to receive my wrath!!  And it is just to darn hot.  OK I feel better getting that off of my  chest.  Mother Nature fear not, I will continue to try to kill them responsibly.

In light of my crabbies I figured out I needed some happy pink.  Sure enough, I started working on changing my kitchen curio.  As I found some different pinks to rearrange,  my mood actually lifted.  It's true what they say,  pink really is a state of mind, not just a color.

Well it is still hotter than you know where, so I think I will stay here in the pink coolness of my home.
