Happy Pink Spring

I did treat myself to a new planter last week.  I have really wanted the little boy and girl planter for a long time.  But I like to shop on a budget.  I find it more fun to find treasures.  And a treasure they are.  Well I'm off to get inspiration.

Happy Pink Holiday

What a wonderful spring!  With it comes one of Christians most joyous time.  We are particular busy with my MIL's birthday and grandaughter's birthday as well.  For our friend's celebrating Pass Over, may you find peace . and love with your families and friends.

Pink Saturdays are here again

I did have a fun week of shopping.   You Pinkies know I'm not one for passing by lovely vintage dishes.  So I thought I would share them with you.  It is also one  way I can show them to da hubs, while I assure him I will be re selling them very soon.  UUUUMM I may have to get another line as I think he repeated it to me before I even had a chance to say anything.  I'll just have to work on that one.  I also wanted you to see my pink treat from Cupid himself.  I just love her.

Happy Pink St Valentine's Day

Arguably the most romantic holiday that most of us celebrate at the same time.  That thought made me feel very connected to all hopeless romantics.  Whatever your decorating style, your manner of dress even the entertainment  you choose, your romantic self shines through what I believe are the sweetest of hearts.

Our world surely needs more hearts that freely give love, and also knows how to receive it.  Perhaps St Valentine will work on that for all of us.  (Hmph sounds like that world peace thing LOL)  But it is a lovely romantic thought.

A pretty in pink ballet

I think almost every little girl dreams of being a pink ballerina.  And there is a guaranteed smile for every parent and grandparent that watches their own little ballerina, twirl and twirl in the middle of the kitchen.  Of course even when she grows weary, the tutu must stay on, and her beloved ballerina bear, held tightly in her arms, will snuggle into sweet dreams.

Alas I have no little ballerina of my own, but even big girls can dream too!  I've enjoyed my little vignette for a few weeks, so I think it's time to pass the dream on.

Hey who said I only love pink?

Well of course it's true I do love pink, I also find great quiet and calm in a nearly all white atmosphere.  I've had a very hard few weeks.  One half of my comedy duo of Bogie and Bacall has passed on.  He brought us many hours of being a clown and a love.  He is missed terribly.  They were brought home together and stayed that way for 15 years.  We also have a wee little dynamo named Skye.  She tries to comfort her sister but Bacall just isn't herself.  I know most of you love your fur babies way beyond the average pet  and owner relationship .
