A pretty in pink ballet

I think almost every little girl dreams of being a pink ballerina.  And there is a guaranteed smile for every parent and grandparent that watches their own little ballerina, twirl and twirl in the middle of the kitchen.  Of course even when she grows weary, the tutu must stay on, and her beloved ballerina bear, held tightly in her arms, will snuggle into sweet dreams.

Alas I have no little ballerina of my own, but even big girls can dream too!  I've enjoyed my little vignette for a few weeks, so I think it's time to pass the dream on.

Hey who said I only love pink?

Well of course it's true I do love pink, I also find great quiet and calm in a nearly all white atmosphere.  I've had a very hard few weeks.  One half of my comedy duo of Bogie and Bacall has passed on.  He brought us many hours of being a clown and a love.  He is missed terribly.  They were brought home together and stayed that way for 15 years.  We also have a wee little dynamo named Skye.  She tries to comfort her sister but Bacall just isn't herself.  I know most of you love your fur babies way beyond the average pet  and owner relationship .

Happy Pink to much to do Saturday

We love the holidays so much, I think we should make it longer.  I mean why try to squeeze all of your parties, shopping and decorating into one short month?  I'm sure we would all find ways to fill up whatever amount of extra time we were given.  But of course there in lies the self made dilemma.

The purpose of the holidays is not to see how crazy we can make ourselves.  I've decided I am going to do less stressing and more enjoying!  To that point I am going to take the time to browse Miss Beverly's Pink Saturday Link.  I am amazed at all of the creativity.  It certainly has inspired me to try different vignettes.  You will be inspired as well.  Your link is:

I'm dreaming of a pink Christmas

Happy decorating time.  I so enjoy this time of year.  I think it is one of the times you can go as far over the top as you care to.  Of course anything from the smallest angel to the largest tree is beautiful.  It does help if you are a person who looks through rose colored glasses!

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Thanksgiving

I'm lucky to say my husband and I have been invited for Thanksgiving dinner this year.  That gives me the ability to start decorating for Christmas.  I have the tendency to over do, but I love it so much, I just can't help myself.  I know many of you feel the same way.  There is no other time of year that brings so many of us pure joy. 

I was unable to do as much as I like the last several years because of my back.  I pared back out of necessity, but found I actually liked it.  I have been going through my stuff to decide what I wanted to do with it.  A daunting task, but very satisfying.  I use to take every thing non Christmas down, to make way for holiday decorations.  Now I'm not doing much of traditional Christmas colors.  This leaves me plenty of space for my PINK.  Oh, I also happen to love white and pastels!  There will be plenty of soft romantic eye candy.

I did take the time to list a few of my glitter houses and decorated trees on Ebay.  I also pulled my holiday decorations and started  decorating.  I 'm happy to be on my way.

I'm so happy to be back.

Hi to all and Happy Pink Saturday.

I have had a very busy fall.  In the month of September, we were gone 3/4's of the month.  Needless to say our yard work and house work continued on with what seemed like great vigor.  I did have a little time to create some putzes.  I found some little ceramic house that I painted in the putz style.  I love the vintage pieces with their haphazard appearance.  I tried to make the ceramic pieces similar so I could use them with my vintage pieces.  I also hand dyed and decorated little trees to go with them.  I like them so much I decided to do a few and place them on eBay.  I hope to get them out there this weekend.
