Happy St Pats to all

Just a short post to share my St Pats table with you.  I can't wait to check in with everyone and see what tablescapes and decorations they are sharing.  The creativity of bloggerettes is exceptional.  I always come away with new ideas.  I hope you enjoy my ideas.

Because I love pink so much, I wanted it to accent the green on my kitchen table.

I do hope the Irish mojo is with me as I prepare dinner!  It sure has been working for me the last few days.  When I went to the grocery mart, I couldn't believe my eyes.  There it was right there to greet me.  I could hardly contain my joy.  I knew after dinner I wanted to serve tea (green of course) and Irish Cream.   Just look at what I found.

OK so the heavens didn't part nor did the choir of angles sing.  But I still have to think it's pretty mojo terrific.

May I pour you a cup? Or perhaps a glass?

Well I hope my little folk will approve of  the things I have done.

I hope they smile their blessings on you and yours as well.

A happy pink Saturday and a St. Patty too

 I love seeing everyoneelses pictures and reading their posts as well.  Unfortunately there are great picture takers out there.  Now I say unfortunately,  because I find mine to be sorely inadequate.  I need a lot of practice and probably a newer camera.  Mine is very limited and is one of the older units.  This rude awakening has shown me I need to get off my duff and get some of my pretties listed to sell.  I have been saying for some time I want to pare back---just a touch.  Somehow, and I think many of you will know what I mean, (I hope),  I just know the minute I give it up, I will need, want or have a burning desire for that particular piece.

So St Patty, I hope you and my bloggerette friends will send me the luck of the Irish.  And I do hope you enjoy my posts.

My pie safe is all dressed for little people and fairies.

I hope the combo of pink and green is showing up on your screen.  I love finding items that bring it all together.  This little lass has a pink top, and ribbon and flowers on her hat.

A few changes on the mantle give us the pink and green St Pats feeling.

My flea market find picture, is a beauty in green with pink flowers.  I have yet to find a mantle scarf to hide those dreadful wires.

As I said I enjoy finding items that bring my idea together.  I was having trouble with my coffee table until the mail came in.

I hope you get the St Pat mojo working for you too.  I'll be working it in the kitchen tomorrow.  As I'm cooking St Pats I'm going to decorate to keep that mojo working for me too.  By the by:  Is mojo Irish?   I think not, but I for one am taking no chances.

It is so much fun to check in with her and many of the other Pinkies.  Her list has grown to many great Bloggerettes.  I have been both inspired and have made new friends.

Speaking of friends, I would like to introduce you to my dear friend Miss Dede.  I recieved many comments on my other friend Miss Minnie last week.  People really liked her.  Well Miss Dede wondered where her fans were.

I had no idea Miss Dede would take it this way.  Well anyway she has been a dear friend nearly 20 years.  I must say I do not believe she has ever divulged even ONE secret.  My only problem is she really is the doll collector.  She merely allows me to play with them.  Well I do keep trying to convince Da Hubs of this.  So far no luck!  But I enjoy her anyway.  We've had great fun at times like the holidays.  If you have ever seen a Patty Playpal doll by Ideal, you know how real they look.  I had Miss Dede and baby Dede decorating the Christmas tree one year.  People were amazed.  I haven't done that for awhile.  Perhaps I'll remember to try it this year.  No guarantees but a fun thought.  I never know what I will remember and what I won't.  I'm still amazed I'm actually doin this. 

Miss Dede is calling to me.  She seems to think it is time to stop yapping and get crafting.  After all she reminds me you will have many blogs to check in on..

Pink Saturday

 I'm always surprised how many people love pink.  It is one of those colors that can be splashed in almost amywhere.  Of cource I also love white creams and pastels.  The combinations of these light bright colors make my home feel soft and cozy.  Today I am sharing my dresse

Am I a Beverly pink girl or not?

I hope I am posting back to Beverly's Pink Saturday.  Have to admit once again, I DON'T HAVE A CLUE UNTIL I PUSH THE BUTTON!!  I just enjoy her personal blog so much.  She also graciously organizes other blogs, that enjoy meeting bloggerettes that love pink.  If this doesn't work back to her,  I will have to humble to other's knowledge.  I really don't mind doing that,  I have met some great bloggers along the way.    Well here goes:

Raggedy Melody's Valentine wish

Yesterday Melody ran to Mommy.  She was very excited. " Mommy can you make  a dress for me and Ducky to wear for school tomorrow?"  "We are going to have a parade for Valentines Day."  While Mommy thought the parade would be fun for all of the children, she didn't know how to sew nor did she have extra money right now.  But she assured Melody she would figure something out .  She looked through her old clothes and began to cut tear, and glue.  When Mommy put the outfit on Melody and Ducky, Melody felt very pretty. She thought it was the prettiest dress ever.  She didn't even notice the strings hanging nor the uneven hem.  "Thank you Mommy"  "I love it" 

 Mommy was very happy.  She just couldn't stop looking at her sweet baby.

Teacher and all of her friends told her how pretty she looked too.

How do I get to you?

I'm having such a hard time getting to your blogs.  Every time I turn THIS THING on I have a new update.  It seems like every time they update me I lose what I just learned.  Now I must confess it is not that difficult to lose me.  I do believe however, that they are playing with my sensibility.  Probably been watching those out of this world shows to much.  Well I keep working at it.  Pretty soon I will have told you how
much your site means to me. and your creativity and or words have inspired me.
